On Saturday, November 10th I gave my very 1st TED Talk. This has been a dream of mine for years and I still can’t believe it really happened. In one of my very 1st years teaching a student said, “Ms. G, you should give one of those.” That statement planted a seed. I promised them that if I ever got the chance to give a TED talk it would be about them, for them.
And that is exactly what I did.
But this TED talk is for you too. It’s for all the teachers out there who understand the value of relationships. It’s for all the educators out there who get that knowing our students is essential. It’s for all those who go into their classroom each day and absolutely love on their kids.
I am excited to share it with you now. And I’d be so excited if you shared it with all your friends too!
Check it out right here. And if you love it, will you do me a favor? Will you share it with all your teacher friends and education leaders in your life? Put it on your social media, send an e-mail, tweet it out, whatever you feel compelled to do.
But for now, enjoy this TED talk. I hope during the next 17 minutes you laugh, think, and feel inspired in unique ways.
Your support for education and for your students is AWESOME.
I appreciate you!
