Did you know…that just because spring fever has hit (you and your students), doesn’t mean we can’t end the year even better than we started.
Is 4th Quarter So Stinkin Hard? Yep!
Here’s the problems we are asking ourselves…
– How am I supposed to celebrate education when it feels like this year has been a mess?
– What am I supposed to do to strengthen relationships at this point in the year?
– How do I even utilize my teacher strengths if I’m burnt out too?
– What am I going to be able to share with my students that I haven’t already?
– How can I still hold on to hope that this year can end on a great note after everything that’s happened?
This doesn’t feel good.
What we want to do at this point is CRUSH IT for Kids.
What does Crush It mean?
It’s an acronym (because education loves those) about the 5 most important things we do as teachers:
Celebrate education
Build Relationships
Utilize what we’ve got
Share with each other,
Hold on Tight
When we focus on those 5 things, everything changes!
Because the reality of education is this…
Every single person who walks into a school deserves to love that experience.
Whether you are a student, teacher, parent, or education leader, walking into school each morning should be an exciting adventure.
And I know it can be when we Crush It For Kids!
Remember, a school is just a building until we transform it from average to awesome.
