Students Will Be Honest: Teachers Just Have to Ask

It’s always good to gather feedback from kids…

That feedback can be in the form of thoughts on lessons, opinions on activities, and other “stuff” too.

Here is a real life example..

Teacher (Me) as Students Walk In:  I have a new classroom scent. Do you like it?

Student:  Is it called “old lady perfume” because that’s what it smells like…

Teacher (Me):  (goes and unplugs Bath and Body Wallflower)

So what you are saying is you don’t like a fresh blend of bright florals & a hint to sweet citrus.  Along with notes of blue freesia, sweet clementine & soft violet petals??

Nothing like a back-2-school truth bomb!

Kids don’t always have the right words to say or the right way to say them.

But they are good at honesty.

And as they say, that is the best policy.

With so much love,
