Are you ready for some Friday Fun in your classroom? If so… Keep reading!
Do you remember when the Nintendo Wii came out?
This was the first gaming system that could actually detect your movements.
It was such a fun way to get kids MOVING while having a fun time.
Flash forward to today and the recording of playing video games has become SO popular.
But what does that have to do with education?
Well, I have 2 words for that JUST DANCE.
This game is wildly popular with kids of all ages and over the course of my years in the classroom I have found that it is amazing way to get kids out of their comfort zone and moving!
So here is a full lesson for you!
This free activity is PERFECT for SEL time, morning meeting, homeroom, small group, and relationship building.
Literally all you need for this is a little bit of a space, some computer speakers, and some sort of projector.
How easy is that?
Don’t think your students will be into dancing?
Promise me you will at least try it?
I have done Just Dance with elementary kids all the way up to high school students.
They get way more involved then you would ever imagine!
This activity has created SO many laughs in my classes and I’m confident it will do the same in yours.
BOOM!
This is such a fun way to:
End the day or week on a good note
Take a quick brain break
Get students outside of their comfort zone
Creating laughter while learning
Burn a few cardio based calories
Here is a downloadable file that is a PDF so it includes the video links.
If you love it, and I’m super confident you will, there is plenty more where it came from!
