Introducing the Newest Book in the Collection:
180 Days of Awesome Relationships
Every day that we walk into our school, we have an opportunity to connect with kids.
How do we do that as education evolves at such a rapid rate?
Schools today are filled with curriculum and computers.
Classrooms are filled with stress and struggles.
Principals offices are filled with flowcharts and frustration.
And sometimes in the midst of all of this we forget about the most important part of education- building insanely strong relationships with kids. But what if each day we took a step back and found one conversation, one connection, one laugh, one moment of learning and we focused on that? What if this school year we decided to invest our hearts and heads into the social-emotional growth of students- not a new program, website, link, or philosophy.
Because programs don’t change kids, but relationships do!
This 180 page book is more than just pages bound together. This is 180 real-world, real-life, raw and relevant reflections from my year of building relationships with kids. These stories, strategies, moments, and memories, aren’t just mine either. This is the journey of every teacher who walks into a school each day.
