You can LOVE teaching and HATE that summer is ending.
You can LOVE teaching and HATE all the stress we are feeling for a new school year.
You can LOVE teaching and HATE the hours you are spending on planning.
This doesn’t make us bad teachers. This makes us human.
Educator Warriors, both love and hate are strong words. I know that.
But I also know that we are strong people.
As we approach another year of education with students, remember that to love and to hate are both real feelings.
And feelings make us human too.
