Something really cool happens when kids step outside their comfort zones.
In fact, they often surprise themselves in these moments.
Here is an example of a conversation that happened in my classroom…
Teacher (Me): Holy cow! That was awesome! I’ve never seen that side of you.
Student: Ms. G, I’ve never seen that side of me. I’m so proud of myself!
This is a powerful moment that we have to capitalize on more often!
This is when your teacher’s heart just melts.
This is why we do what we do, friends!
Remember moments like this and go enjoy your time in your classroom.
