We Need to Teach Kids The Art of an Apology

“Sorry” isn’t very significant

We need to teach our students how to apologize.

What if we show them this structure:

“I’M sorry THAT I (fill in the blank) BECAUSE when I did that it (fill in the blank).  What can I do to make things better from here?”

That’s taking accountability.

Making “Sorry” More Significant.

PS- this “sorry script” is also really important for adults to use too.

Save and share this post so we can help other teachers, kids, parents, and adults learn this important life skill.
