These past few years have been really difficult in education.
We have started to (and continued to) question so much about our passion and profession.
But here is a seriously important reminder…
Becoming obsessed with what other teachers think about you is the fastest way to forget about what you think about you.
No teacher can do exactly what you can do for kids.
Let this be the moment that we understand that every educator brings something unique & awesome to the table.
YOU do awesome things for kids.
So stop:
Comparing.
Feeling like you fall short.
Aren’t creative enough.
Don’t meet the expectation.
Can’t be like teachers you see on social media.
YOU connect with kids in beautiful, empowering ways that other people can’t.
And that is what makes education so cool.
So keep doing what you are doing!
And know that this school year is going to be awesome!
