“Blind Date Books” An Awesome Idea for Schools!

I was at a bookstore in South Carolina and saw this “Blind Date” bookshelf.

Totally intrigued, I stepped over to the shelf and saw books that had been wrapped up in butcher paper.  Written on that were a bunch of quotes, key words, and reviews, but no titles or authors.

A few got my attention based on the “teaser” info on the front.  I wanted to rip them open and read every page!

They say “don’t judge a book by its cover” but the reality is, I totally do!  Do you?

This idea changes how we would have a relationship with a book on our “first date” and I freaking loved it.

What a cool way to get kids to pick books out of our classrooms or school libraries too right?

Be sure to save this idea and share it with your district librarians.

With So Much Love,
