Holiday Food Makes People Happy!
And we are approaching turkey and ham season!
So I thought I would help us all out by providing a free activity that is super easy to implement in your classroom and involves the holiday cheer!
Holiday Food Battle!
This is the PERFECT way to get kids talking, sharing, and connecting.
It’s super simple, for each round kids get to vote on which holiday dish is better.
They can only pick one per round, so they have to think carefully!
At the end of the bracket, only one food is the champion!
I did this with my students last week and they LOVED IT!
It created:
– Amazing talks on family traditions
– Quirky convos on their dislikes with food
– Some competitive spirit when their dish won or lost
If you already have your plans made for this month, his is perfect for in between Thanksgiving and Winter Break!
And for the record, you gotta vote in each round too!
All you have to do is print or upload into google classroom and you are good to go.
