We may IMPRESS others with our strengths like in-depth lessons or creative curriculum ideas.
But we CONNECT others through our weaknesses like teaching a terrible unit or handling a parents interaction poorly.
We are all imperfect.
Celebrate it.
Learn from it.
Teaching Life Isn’t Perfect
So we totally don’t need to act like it is.
Some of my best lessons come from when the original lesson explodes in my face.
Some of my best parent communication comes from the adult starting the conversation by freaking out.
Some of my best activities come when I ask for help from others because I know they have been the struggle bus too.
We are here together.
So let’s learn together.
And we can learn from the celebrations AND the struggles.
