5 Year Anniversary of The TED Talk “How Starbucks Could Save Education”

5 years ago I gave a TED TALK about education.

During that TED Talk I made this statement…

“students and teachers should want to sprint into schools with fearless, not sprint out of them with frustration.”

This statement was important in 2018, but is it even MORE important now?

Teachers like us pour our hearts into this profession and we should get the chance to sprint into schools because we are excited each day.

But are teachers and students really focused on that final bell ring so we can say, “it’s over!”

The reality is, it feels like we have lost a lot of our cheering section.

So let’s get back to celebrating education and believing in the fact that great schools exist because great relationships exist within them.
