We need to surround ourselves with people who are making us better educators because they inspire, enlighten, and bring joy to our teacher lives.
But if the people you ADMIRE MOST, make you FEEL the WORST, it is time to find some new role models.
Here is an important teacher truth…
There is enough drama in the world.
We don’t need even more of it in our teacher life.
This goes for who we follow on social media too.
If every time we see a teacher posting something from their classroom and it makes us feel bad or guilty or we start comparing, click that unfollow button.
Ain’t nobody got time for those feelings.
Let’s make a promise and a pledge to ourselves that this year we are going to surround ourselves with people who inspire and enlighten us!
There is SO much goodness in the world and our teacher sphere, sometimes we just have to declutter to find it.
